Cryrim
I’ve just reached a modest level 42 in the land of Skyrim with my much less modest, “BAMF” character, Peatnik. I can level the field with a firely rain, decapitate vicious bandits and demons at will, summon the undead for my bidding, and deflect nearly all attacks with a personally crafted armor that sends lesser men home with the willies at one glance.
Unfortunately, should any of those, or the million other happenings of a typical adventure in Skyrim take place at the same time of another, it causes an instant freeze, fixable only by completely resetting the system. Also, due to one of the latest off-spring of a recent Sony firmware update (I game on the PS3) each hard reset takes a good ten minutes, as the system performs a hard disc test to ensure no damage has taken place. Good, smart, extremely annoying feature. As Skyrim has been freezing on me now, as my save file has grown, a good two times per hour, it plunders nearly all enjoyment away, like a pirate with a come hither stare and an STD.
I like Skyrim. I adore traversing the game world, and losing myself to the brilliantly sufficating atmosphere. Please fix this, Bethesda; or I’ll be forced to actually play Modern Warfare 3.
Dire conscenquences.
